The Alexamenos Graffito

The Alexamenos Graffito is the oldest known depiction of Jesus. Dated to roughly the 2nd century CE, the carving depicts a man named Alexamenos worshipping his god. It’s clear that the piece was meant to mock Alexamenos because the portrayal of Jesus has his head as a donkey.
